Canadian Construction Association (CCA)
The Canadian Construction Association is the voice of Canada’s largest industry. Representing interests of the non-residential sector of an industry that employs close to 1 million Canadian men and women, producing $123 billion in goods and services, CCA is uniquely positioned to speak to the federal government on a wide range of issues.
CCA represents a membership of more than 20,000 enterprises. The association has successfully attracted vibrant people involved in every aspect of the industry. Members work at everything from design to management of finished projects and from road building to general contracting.
CCA Weekly is an electronic newsletter published each week by the Canadian Construction Association (CCA). It contains relevant articles and information for CCA members and those involved in the construction industry.

Council of Ontario Construction Associations (COCA)
The Council of Ontario Construction Associations (COCA) goals are to:

COCA’s activities and achievements at Queen’s Park affect you. By maintaining an open dialogue with the Ontario Government and its agencies, we are an ideal forum to drive issues with the provincial government.
GVCA is a passionate promoter of the Gold Seal certification system. Created by construction for construction, Gold Seal is the industry`s hallmark of experience, professional and competency. Those who hold the Gold Seal designation signal to their peers that they have met, and strive to uphold, the industry`s highest standards.
BestBidz is Ontario’s Construction Association Network – the product of a collaboration between 12 Local Construction Associations (LCAs) across the province of Ontario. BestBidz has been formed with the goal of enhancing communication between the buyers and sellers of construction in Ontario by providing a state-of-the-art online marketplace to facilitate tendering.
The LCAs that comprise BestBidz are non-profit organizations that have been serving the industry for decades, some as early as 1867! These member-supported mixed-trade organizations are committed to providing services in the areas of advocacy, relationship building, standard practices, construction documents and seals, commissioner of oaths, education, training, communications, and social networking.

Through this alliance, BestBidz has evolved from being an electronic plan room into a full-blown electronic tendering, bidding, bonding, pre-qualification and invitation to bid platform for owners, architects and general contractors. etegri, our solution for owners and architects is free for these clients, and On Demand, our solution for general contractors is also free for GVCA EPR (Electronic Plans Room) member GCs.
Canadian Design-Build Institute (CDBI)
The Canadian Design-Build Institute was formed in 1998 to serve the interest of a very diverse group of practicing individuals. Membership in CDBI is open to anyone who has an interest in design-build; however, the policies are set by a core group of members who represent a number of industry sectors, namely: owners, consultants, contractors, and providers of allied services such as insurance and bonding companies, financial institutions and law firms.
Canadian Construction Innovations (CCI)
CCInnovations is the result of a challenge by the Canadian Construction Association (CCA) that an Institute be established to instill a new culture for innovation in the Canadian construction industry.
Lean Construction Institute – Canada (LCI-C)
The Lean Construction Institute – Canada (LCI-C) was established in 2015 as a special committee of the Canadian Construction Association to help transform the building industry in Canada by making a difference in how projects are planned, designed and managed, in all forms of project delivery.
Lean Construction embodies the principles of Lean, and can help deliver construction projects more efficiently, while increasing productivity in all aspects of a project. Its principles are already being utilized in other industries, and projects around the world are benefiting from the use of Lean Construction.
LCI-C is dedicated to sharing and promoting Lean Construction principles in all aspects of building, including new approaches to planning and control, the use of cross-functional teams, the utilization of modeling in project definition and design, and new tools for production workflow in construction.
Through Communities of Practice and its national membership, LCI-C is dedicated to transforming the Canadian building industry by making it worker smarter, faster, and leaner.
